Linda lives and works in North Norfolk, and is known locally as ‘The labrador artist”.
Linda trained as a knitwear designer at Nottingham Trent (BA Hons) and The Royal College of Art (M Des). She then worked in Paris for a few years.
After the birth of her daughters, she changed tack to painting, which she could fit in around them.
In 2006, Linda started showing her work at Open Studios and other exhibitions around Norfolk. Then in 2009 she tried adding her labradors into her paintings with immediate success.
She paints in thick impasto with a palette knife and a brush for details. Her inspiration usually comes on her daily walks with labradors, Jasper and Paddy.
‘I love to watch them enjoying their environment, the beach, the pinewoods and the marsh. We are so lucky to live in this beautiful area’.
