A light-hearted summer concert featuring the Wood Dalling Singers, local brass group and the renowned music student Eleanor Oldfield, incorporating a short WWI anniversary interlude.

About The Event
The Wood Dalling Singers are back! This year's concert will feature a diverse selection of pieces ranging from some well-known show tunes and musicals, traditional folk tunes and jazz and will be enhanced by the addition of a talented brass ensemble, accomplished accompanist Andrew Mildenhall and renowned vocal talent, Eleanor Oldfield. To commemorate the 100th anniversary of WWI, there will also be a reflective section featuring The Last Post, war poetry and an unaccompanied war song.
The Summer Concert will start at 4pm on Sunday 9th September. Tickets are £7 each and under 12s are free. There will be a 30 minute interval during which afternoon tea will be available to purchase.
Ample free parking is available throughout the weekend in the field next to the church, accessed off Church Lane.
All proceeds from the weekend will go towards the St Andrew's Church restoration fund.
