Welcome to Wood Dalling

Wood Dalling is a village and civil parish in the Norfolk district of Broadland.  It is situated some 20 kilometres (12 mi) east of Fakenham, 20 km (12 mi) south-west of Cromer, and 30 km (19 mi) north-west of Norwich.

The civil parish has an area of 9.89 km2 (3.82 sq mi) and in the 2001 census had a population of 181 in 78 households, increasing to a population of 209 in 91 households at the 2011 census.

In 1870-72, John Marius Wilson's Imperial Gazetteer of England and Wales described Wood Dalling like this: 

WOOD-DALLING, a parish, with a village, in Aylsham district, Norfolk; 7½ miles ENE of Elmham r. station. Post town, Reepham, under Norwich. Acres, 2,444. Real property, £4,138. Pop., 508. Houses, 116. The property is subdivided. The living is a vicarage, annexed to Swannington. The church is ancient but good. There are Independent and Primitive Methodist chapels, a national school, and charities £7.
